Fifth graders were busy writing literary composition poems on dinky posters. One girl wrote a school spirit poem, with the first letter of to each one line spelling out the school name: S for "super," N for "nice," and so on. She fifty-fifty drew a picture of a lynx (pictures were not required) that was a spot-on return of the school mascot.
